Summary:
· Prepare Marketing department action plans to support the company to achieve sales goals.
· Oversee the activities of marketing department by setting up brand marketing goals and ensure designated tasks achieved set targets.
Implement marketing plans, including product positioning, campaign strategies and market research.
· Responsible for developing new products by researching current trends in food industry
· Continually improving current products by analyzing consumers’ information.
· Conduct market trend analysis using Nielson and IRI data and analyze that information to materialize a plan to create new products
Interpret obtained data from market research for the company to make effective business decisions.
· Coordinate various new product development/improvement projects.
· Manage/maintain relationships with other departments and headquarter in Japan.
· Prepare reports and submit proposal letter to Japanese headquarter marketing department
Monitor, review and prepare reports to management on the results of marketing department activities including return on investment.
Collaborate with different departments to deliver an effective content of marketing strategy to meet the company goals.
Additional objectives may be added as needed by management to meet company direction.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Required language: Japanese - Business Level: Speak, Read and Write
8+ years of experience in marketing or product development or project management
CPG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or b to c business industry experience is a must
Data management, data analyze skills
3+ year of Supervisor or management experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge

Summary
- After understanding the company’s policies, you will communicate the corporate brand and each brand strategy to customers (consumers and distributors) through various means based on the marketing strategy.
- Work with Sales team to develop and implement plans to promote sales.
- Develop and motivate team members and implement team improvement measures.
Principal tasks (not limited to and subject to change)
- Working in cooperation with Marketing Strategy Planning, you will implement marketing measures based on the proposed strategies. Specifically, you will promote the following:
- Work with external agencies to plan and execute campaigns aimed at increasing brand and product awareness and trust. (Online advertising, digital marketing, etc.)
- Operate Food Shows in cooperation with the Innovation Center and Sales department to promote brand awareness and expand sales.
- Utilize websites and social media to improve customer/consumer satisfaction and collect real-time information.
- Publicize research themes that will help maintain and improve our company and brand image.
- Promote activities to increase the value of Tofu (soybeans) and plant-based food through recipe development, etc.
- Develop and implement a plan to promote sales. (Digital sales promotion, in-store tool creation, etc.)
- Share the results of the marketing efforts with Marketing Strategy Planning department to improve our future efforts.
- Manage and review the required budget and actual expenditure for the Customer Communication department.
Requirement:
10 year+ experience in Marketing, Public Relations at food/beverage/CPG company.
Bachelor Degree in Business or Marketing related degree is a must
Marketing skills: Basic knowledge required for formulating policies in collaboration with external parties.
Experience leading promotions in the U.S. as a marketer
Management skills: Ability to plan and execute marketing activities, manage budgets, and manage resources.
Communication skills: Leadership skills are required to advance projects while coordinating with your own department, other departments, and eternal parties.
Experience leading promotions in the U.S. as a marketer
Experience in food is best, but experience in consumer goods marketing would be good.
Computer skills: Proficient Excel, Word, Outlook, Net Suite
