    Job Summary

    The Field Representative will primarily work from home and serve as a central point of contact for their assigned areas, and will play a key role in developing relationships with retailers and educating store and consumers. From time to time, Field Representatives will also be required to travel to other areas to support stores. Field Representatives shall also be responsible for utilizing sales tools efficiently and negotiating additional exposure in order to help build Brand Awareness in each area.     Job Description

    • Support the Manager in account management by managing field activities.

    • Visit various grocery stores to meet with store managers, dairy managers, and product demonstration personnel. May include several multi-day trips to other states or areas.

    • Complete daily administrative work within your 8-hour work day.

    • Perform other activities requested by Supervisor for special projects. Example: calling on/opening new businesses in other channels, Restaurants, Hospitals, Offices, Nursing Homes, Universities, Other.

    • Conduct Field Surveys to collect information from in store customers, event participants, and others.

    • Submit Field Survey data within requested deadlines.

    • Train/educate product demonstration personnel in stores.

    • Establish and build retail relationships by, among other things, maintaining a regular, frequent schedule of visits to retailers in the territory for which you are responsible.

    • Educate, assist, and inform Dairy Managers and other appropriate retailer personnel about all product issues and marketing objectives and programs.

    • Rotate and restock shelves when visiting a store while on duty.

    • Clean shelves, remove expired or damaged product from shelves.

    • Request best product location as necessary in assigned stores.

    • Utilize promotional materials in the stores.

    • Monitor and maintain retail integrity and compliance on all store calls.

    • Provide Grocery Store chain specific information and communication on daily basis as needed and as requested by supervisor.

    • Provide accurate photo records of store visits and tangible targets achieved.

    • Support the Manager in planning, executing, and evaluating sales efforts including demos and store activities.

    • Maximize efforts to ensure orders are placed before in-store Demonstrations.

    • Perform timely Demo visits according to calendar.

    • Evaluate demo/demonstrator’s performance and give appropriate feedback to sales department.

    • Communicate with supervisors and sales team on an ongoing basis.

    • Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled with manager.

    • Maintain all company provided equipment and material in acceptable working order and condition.

    • Pick up/deliver product as needed.

    • Execute in-store demonstrations (occasionally as needed).

    • Participate in sampling events as needed, along with sampling activity for Influencers in each area.

    • Assist pick up, deliveries or transfers of cooler units from store to store or storage to a store (occasionally).

    • Negotiate cooler placement, permanent/temporary additional locations at store level.

    • Communicate with consumers while working at the stores to educate them about the benefits of our products.

    • Additional objectives may be added as needed by management to meet company direction.

    Job Requirements

    Schedule will require every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). 5 days a week, Tuesday and Wednesday will be off.

    • Experience in the food/beverage industry.

    • 1-2 year of merchandising or sales or buyer experience for grocery store is a must.

    • 1 year of experience in the retail environment, grocery stores a plus.

    • Experience with consumer goods a plus.

    • Spanish is helpful but not mandatory

    • High school diploma or GED.

    • Clean driving record is required

    • Ability to drive from site to site throughout a regular shift under the kind of driving conditions encountered in your geographic territory.
